Formed in 1991, our transport preservation group owns 2 former London Transport Country Area buses - a double deck AEC Regent (RT604) last operated at Chelsham bus garage and a single deck coach AEC Regal (RF600) which last saw service at Hertford bus garage.

Our aim is to preserve these historic vehicles for as long as possible so that others can enjoy and appreciate them at rallies and bus running days. Often we re-enact the routes operated by the buses during their service life.

The Purley Transport Preservation Group consists of 6 partners and is based in Purley, Surrey, England.
